Hidden

A Poem by SnowflakeSwift
"

A tribute to the many cryptid animals who (probably) roam the earth.

"

somewhere in the cool blue deep
there’s a Kraken fast asleep
coiled tight
hidden might

somewhere in the alpine snow
a Yeti wanders to and fro
silent feet
treading deep

somewhere in the midnight skies
the Jersey Devil swiftly flies
circling above
broken love

somewhere in the jungle murk
the Chupacabra stealthily lurks
glowing eyes
until sunrise
