It wasn't you.

It wasn't you.

A Poem by solver0

It wasn't you

The wind was knocking on my door last night.
It wasn't you.
The sea calmed me today.
It wasn't you.
The phone rang yesterday.
It wasn't you.
Someone smiled at me today.
It wasn't you.
I made love with someone.
It wasn't you.
When we met I liked her eyes. We went out,
 danced, drank, smoked.
Went back home.
Made love.

I cut myself in the morning, while shaving.
There, there you were.
