the worst day in your life

A poem for anyone that's ever lost someone

One day in your life something will happen to you

and everything is going to change

 

it will all get rearranged

 

you're going to feel pain that will drive you insane

It's  going to hurt so very bad your whole life is going to turn sad

And nothing anyone can say could make you feel ok

It's going to take more than a few days before it all goes away

 

you will feel sick inside and wish you had a place to hide

people will tell you times a great healer

but what the hells going to get you through today?

It's not like you can run away

 

At night you won't sleep even though you're so tired and weak

your eyes will flood and you'll pray for help from above

but no words of comfort could possibly make it all right

you just have to stay strong and not give up the fight

 

If you had a just one wish you would want to make it through this

 

but it will take a while before you will see

the magic is time is what you will find
