Poem about a broken heart

 

Words like fire from a dragons breath

“As much as I love you,….

Neurons trigger

Heart fires, freezing

Like ice over a frozen lake

Trying to protect life’s beat beneath it

….I have to go.”

Heart Shattered

I never really mattered.
