Age old time

She remains in present tense with a past attached,

a picture book of aged old memories 

of how her youth used to be,

Once with a shattered heart but it mended soon 

A heart of solitude now restored anew 

How it got to be this way, I can't tell you.

It's like how my dreams come and go 

as another page slowly turns 

one after another my stomach churns,

All to another page in time 

left without a rhyme 

but my heart will be fine.
