Cycles turn

It's sad how sad cycles turn 

sometimes they cause a burn 

and a lesson to learn. 

Just like when he came back to my door 

and I slammed the door in his face 

and told him this is my place,

He never helped with the rent at all 

I threw him out like a piece of trash 

because he was like a big old rash,

No topical ointment could cure him 

He just got underneath my skin 

I should've never let that devil in.

At first he was so sweet and nice 

but wow that table turned fast!

All those feelings I had never last 

Now he's shacking up elsewhere 

I feel for the new girl in town 

because that devil always lurks around.

My ex was a piece of work, he always found a way to hurt me.

So are you fond of this devil? I mean in life you people and then its your fate that decides your relationship with that person. Why care if you closed the door? Flush it out and live it like a monk as simple as that...
