Unthought Unknown

Unthought Unknown

A Poem by SJ

I heard another one took place

As has been happening for days

And it made me wonder

Whether the next one will be me

An unwanted touch, some forced contact

Piercing pain and hurt to feel

And then, to be cast asunder

Like a used object

Will it happen every time they look at me?

Always looking, but never to see

Every time they question me

And wonder which fault could it have been

Had I let tooo much be seen?

To some man, had I been mean?

For sure, the error was on my part

I had been late to depart from the office,

My body was as beautiful as art

But it’s all gone

My friends, my family, my future

I was, not am.

When they catch him

They’ll ask was I sure,

That I had seen him in my daze?

A good man, his life will be ruined

& they’ll tell me, the entity in my belly

For her, her life, her dreams

A bond of life, with him, I should face.

How can it hurt

As much as it does

When my cries don’t touch a soul
no one to make me feel whole

again, as before.
