Who is that I see in the distance?

Who is that I see in the distance?

A Poem by sonia primerano
"

He is always there for me, always there to save me. (Thank you)

"
Who is that I see in the distance
Crying and all alone?
As the tides of misery encircle her
A look of fear and shame appears on her.
(And the) tears continue to fall,
And the waters continue to,
Slowly, ever so slowly,
Rise.
She is hopeless.

And hope lies up above, but she cannot reach it.
What she knows is uncertain,
And what is uncertain is on its way
To save her.
Her savior,
With crimson wings and a loving heart,
Pulls her up and out of fluid Despair.
And they soar towards hope,
And she stretches towards life,
And grabs it.
The light overcomes her.

So, who is that I see in the distance?
Well,
It is me.

Author's Note

sonia primerano
This came to me one day out of pure nothingness, as I contemplated the somewhat distressful situation I was in, and that my boyfriend, my companion in life, had been there for me, no matter what, as always.

Comments and criticism are greatly appreciated! :)
