should i choose happy or safe?

this poem is about trying to choose between two choices in life

should i choose happy or safe?

well, both are clearly different

i wish there was an option that included both, 

but i know that's not possible.

should i choose happy?

happiness is the most important thing in the world.

so why wouldn't i choose it?

i don't know, maybe because

just because you're happy, doesn't mean

it'll stop people from judging or commenting on you, 

will it?

should i choose safe?

well at least i know people will like the way i am, 

even though i'm acting UN-me.

so i guess the real question is:

should i choose me or them?

because really if i choose happy

then i can guarantee 100% satisfaction with myself 

but not of others.

but if i choose safe then i can guarantee 100% people satisfaction

but not my own. 

but in the end, i choose happy

because in the end all i have is me

right?

i don't know, do you?
