Saviour

The protagonist is addressing a friend who is searching for happiness and self worth in other people and reminds them that the path to true happiness is walked by oneself.

You stand alone,

looking at the sea.

At the horizon, wondering what it's like to be free.

You say there's someone out there,

who is meant to be,

who will be your happiness,

who will then set you free.

But I say,

if you listen, you look close enough,

there's a saviour deep within you

for when the times get rough.

knowing that you will be free

the beauty all around you.

You'll find your saviour there.
