I Don't Want to Say Goodbye

I wrote this for my best friend before we left for college

I don't want to say goodbye.

Without you, I'd be lost.

Venting to each other, fast food runs, watching Netflix and movies.

I'm going to miss you so much.

I don't want to say goodbye.

Without you, I'd be alone.

Telling each other everything and being honest with the other about our feelings.

You're the closest friend I have.

I don't want to say goodbye.

Without you, I'd be a mess.

Helping each other through our worst times, cheering the other up over guys.

I'll always be there for you.

I don't want to say goodbye.

But I know this isn't a real goodbye.

We can still visit each other, see each other on break, and talk on the phone.

It just won't be the same though.

So,

I'll see you soon.
