Quitting time

Quitting time

A Poem by Soren

If I should die before I finish this tale, please don't me bewail

It's been a most beautiful ride and I am totally satisfied

Although I've laughed and cried, I've had nothing to hide

I always knew that when it was through

Succeed or fail no more tickets would be for sale

For your sake, Soren, I'm glad you're still with us, and for mine that you posted this,

sounds like Plath in her "Lady Lazarus"----

"the peanut crunching crowd filing in to see them unwrap me hand and foot"---
she was putting on a show in the arena...and tickets were expensive.

Wonderfully composed, Soren! I absolutely loved how you added your gratitude step-by-step. Indeed, before we quit, we want to be satisfied with our efforts.

Thanks so much Mk. Happiness, ours or others, is all that matter in this life. Thanks for the read.
