Giving

Giving

A Poem by Soren

Love's barbed hook and line
happiness increase
Fish never mine
only catch and release

Tarnished glory in a trumpet's sound
Wrinkled honor in a ribbon
In fame faux valor found
Heroes names go unwritten

Inventor of fire's long gone smoke
Created words melted into history
Alphabet written on tablets now broke
Christ from Judas taking victory

Thanks Thomas I appreciate the review and your comment is valued
we just borrow love, we never really own it.
And if we are not careful...as we remove the hook...the fish will slip out of our hands and we will be alone again...
I wonder if Christ had made it Judas' fate to kiss him and start the ball rolling...

there seems to be a purpose to everything...we get no hint until it plays out.
