How sensitive are your ears? Can they hear the drops of tears?

You can hear the falling of the rain, why can't you hear the splash of pain? 

How well can you see? Can you discern building clouds of misery?

You can notice the forming of a storm, why can't you see happiness' face deform?

What of touch, soft rabbit fur in the hutch, can you feel its fear to heal?

You know when your heart is broken, do you experience the tongue lash of a word ill spoken

And smell? Deteriorating relationships, can your nose tell?

So easy, sweet fragrance of the rose, what of mold in an unfaithful bed that grows?

Have you ever tasted poor self esteem or the flavor of a broken dream?

The bitterness of hate or sour regret at being too late
