Once Upon a Midnight Moon

wrote this about Christmas in my school yearbook :)

Once upon a midnight moon

A baby in his mothers womb

Destined to save the world alone

With saving grace and all love shown.

 

 

He once was higher than all mankind

But down on earth He’s come to dine

Born in such a different place

Without flaw upon His face.

 

 

Sovereign than any

other king

And soon the whole earth will sing

Taught the life of a carpenter’s son

Not knowing He was the Almighty ONE.

 

 

Today is the day for all to praise

Of His kind and forgiving ways

A life that was given up in a loving way

To celebrate a birthday this Christmas day.
