None the less...

None the less...

A Poem by _thesovo
"

Dark. I read this now and I think of the Middle Ages. After about a couple weeks after I wrote this I think it as DARK.

"

For what we have lost,

I do apologize for my actions.

For what we have gained,

I stand triumphant.

I stand here, before everyone

Pleading for my innocence.

It was certain I was doomed for death.

I was on the opposite side of the world,

Alone, with my own opinion.

Everyone else believed the same thing

They had no means of perspective.

No one had sought to think differently

No one except me.

Yes I agree that it does tell a story. I really liked this poem, and it's something a lot of people can relate to, including me. It's hard to say what I specificly loved about this poem because...well...I loved everything

I like this poem. I remember when I was in the middle east. The female Soldiers got a list of how to act. Most of them laughs and said. I'm here to save their asses and will do as I please. I agree with them. I like the feel of the poem. We who live in countries where woman and men can do the same things. need to be thankful. A very good poem. Your words made me think. A excellent poem.
