The Eternal Twins

The Eternal Twins

A Poem by Stephon Parker
"

This came out as a small tribute to all the men and women who served our country during the 9/11 attacks.

"

There are no words to describe the moment,

Death can still be felt here,

Troubled souls, in turmoil,

Never able to say goodbye.

The first strike, unreal.

The second, left no doubt.

We were under attack.

People scrambling to say their final goodbyes.

 Was it their time?

Was this fair?

Didn’t matter, time was up,

All fairness, gone.
