My Fault

I understand perfectly…

And I am ready to take the blame.

It was my fault.

It IS my fault.

Last memory… an email…

No.

Last memory shall be the blood spilled for you.

It IS MY FAULT!

Maybe I’m not old enough…

Wise enough…

Beautiful enough…

Smart enough…

Tall enough…

Close enough…

Real enough...

Or in love enough.

Maybe I could have loved you more….

I doubt it though.

My fault..

That I offered my heart.

Forgive me for not being worth enough.

It is my fault I wasn’t good enough for you.

i love this poem and i know the exact feeling

It always hurts deeply when someone we love the most breaks our heart. But it's worse to find faults in ourselves. Why to blame yourself for someone who left you; someone who doesn't care about you.
It's easier nowadays to take up the whole blame on ourselves even if it's not our fault.
But as far as the poem is concerned, it was superb. I loved it!! The flow, the words, the feelings, the structure....everything was very good....

Oh my what a gut wrenching poem... why is it we always tend to look for blame in ourselves when someone walks away thinking we could've and should've done more... you laid out those thoughts that plagued many including myself.
