the girl with the black velvet flats

the girl with the black velvet flats

A Poem by speakingcolors
"

with purest intent...

"

she's a funny little one,

the girl with the black velvet flats,

drinking her coffee and tea.

she puts brandy in her apple sauce

and eats only halves of cookies.

i was about to say something to her,

but something caught my eye.

on the flat of her shoe,

somewhere between the top and bottom,

i found a small white spec,

and that simply would not do.

This is really lovely :)
A nice read, you created a nice character in the girl, with all the little things cause that's what we always remember.
And how perception works... it just works ! lol
Well done
