two pairs of toes

two pairs of toes

A Poem by speakingcolors

slip off your lovely ballet feet

and stretch your toes.

dance barefoot with me

on the hardwood floor.

but be careful,

please,

for my clumsy pauper feet

have a mind of their own.

This is an enchanting poem and yet at the same time, quite amusing ^_^
I'm not used to short works as these as mine tend to go on for some time, yet you managed to capture the essence of the poem in a few short lines. Perfect.
Good job.
