Swirling

Swirling

A Poem by spenderlou
"

I wrote this awhile ago as a sort of solo project, but I kind of gave it up since then.

"
I guess I should've knew
But i didn't see what you've shown
Blessed with the gift of sight
Lying, watching the swirling lights
I want to forgive you
But that's what you want me to do
And I'm sorry if I pissed you off
I remember touching you so soft

But I know you'll just hurt me
I'm not blind I can see
Cursed with the gift of sight
Crying, watching the swirling lights
And it's one hell of a view
It's almost as good as you

I want to forgive you
But that's just what you want me to do

I was born with the gift of sight
I'm quiet now, watching our swirling lives
