THOU PURE ONCE

THOU PURE ONCE

A Poem by SAYED THANGAL
"

You are so sweet and pure when you visited me first, but later the situation changed.

"
So bright and glittering

When you first visited me

Pure and fresh from Him , but not now

Oh soul ! what made you fade ?

Turned  impure my days and deeds

New  black marks daily added

The distance every day becomes wider

From the eternal to the mortal .

No I , without you,

But you be without me.

I know my frailties

But no control over you.

Wish you were with me always

For , I'm nothing when you leave

But you'll go one day , without an adieu

To merge with the Light above !

You tend to move towards the right

But me , divert you to the wrong ,

Causes for the conflicts from within

Unpardonable and painful !

The purity of the soul when it is tainted with sin and wicked deeds. An ever struggle and conflict within...A very good write...:).................

I value your opinion, thanks
Indeed when we are born our souls are so good and pure until our choices and actions turns it to black sometimes.Well penned.
