The King and I.

The King and I.

A Poem by ssaimeri

Why when a man

speaks outwardly towards

himself

does he then become a

man unworthy of trust.

This man does what

everyone

else does naturally in

side their head, but aloud.

Isn’t it supposed that

articulating a thought

better helps to

understand ones

own views and standing?

"

Yes but isn’t it unseemly

for one to be seen talking

aloud to themselves?

Analyzing the intricate

thoughts that are better left inside

ones head but,

aloud?

For that matter, does it not

then give that person

an enhanced sense of

unforced extroversion?

A man who is allowed to

talk to himself is

A man who need not

look for entertainment

farther than his own breath

"

And What pray tell

is wrong with finding entertainment

on our own doorstep?

"

Well it’s not that it’s necessarily

wrong.

It’s just obscene.

"

That as may be old dog,

but this, is a world

full of people like this.

And i, just a bit more honest.

"

But really, what must

they all think about the man who

talks aloud to himself.

"

I care not what the feeble

minded have to say about one

such as i.

For them to think twice about

how i live is unfortunate for them.

"

You are right, of course.

"

Indeed.
