The Roses of Her Heart

Tears like shards of glass

       slid down her face,

falling onto the blood red

       roses of her heart.

The wilting red rose

       slowly loosing petals

as the winds of lost hope

       sends them soaring

through the air around her.

       She sits alone as those

glass tear drop- shatter

      her already broken heart.

 

But hope is not lost.

       From that wilting rose

another takes its place.

       More beautiful -

More strong then the last.

       The rose wont let the tears

force the petals to wilt a second time

      The roses of her heart.

It's beautiful. It DOES make sense..... it makes sense in the sense that when I listen to Cradle of Filth, I don't think others would hear the artistry and orchestra playing in the background. They will only hear the metal and screams. You have found many levels of insight, sense, and self-reflective imagination that is really awesome to see in words that you specifically choose. Doesn't make any sense? You saying it does not make sense, does not make sense for the fact is this poem does make sense. It makes plenty of sense.
