The car race

The car race

A Poem by starlight1

It was a beautiful sunny day
So off they headed to to car rally today
Polishing and shining their car like new
Relaxing soaking up the sun so warm and blue
So off they went and entered into the car race
Boy there was such a smile upon their face
Their car was winning by half a mile, leaving dust behind in the air
Giggling and laughing having such a good time feeling the wind in their hair
The crowd was clapping and full of happy and loud cheers
Donald Duck smiled and said I haven't had this much fun in years
Donald put on his radio and listened to some music that was so funky
While Huey giggled and made funny faces making the crowd laugh as he started pretending he was a monkey
They were the first to cross the finish line and won first prize
A wonderful trophy and ribbon, they could not believe their eyes
They seemed to enjoy just soaking up the sun
And boy all of them were having so much fun
