Something Magical

Something Magical

A Poem by starlight1

It was a cold and windy day
So the little girl went to her room to play
She peered into her doll house as she looked in awe
It was the most pretty and beautiful thing that she ever saw
She opened the window and slowly in came a gust
Seems the magic filled the room as the fairies danced sprinkling fairy dust
She sat down at watched the wonderful magic for alittle while
Upon her face as it glowed with delight with a huge smile
The music started playing as the fairies started dancing around
In the room there was so much magic as the music played such a beautiful sound
She watched and played with the fairies and it was such a magical, enchanting sight
In the doll house the fairies sprinkled more fairy dust as a beautiful unicorn appeared so soft and so white
She petted the unicorn that had fur soft as the finest silk
As the little girl watched the magic unfold as she munched on her plate of cookies and her glass of milk
Looking with wonder and delight aloud she sings
As she enjoys watching the fairies with their soft and gentle wings
For in life we all share common things through the eyes of a child each day
As we all watch their fun that they are having today
If you look you will see the magic inside you unfold
For through the eyes of a child their is such magic and wonder to behold

Your poem is delightful! I can picture my grandaughter petting the unicorn. (She's crazy about them) Thank you for writing it! Sam
