A sisters love

A sisters love

A Poem by starlight1

Near the shadows on the hills
There is a meadow with blooming daffodils
The sisters go there to always play
Finding something new to do each day
Their day today started out just like all the rest
But what they found they felt truly blessed
Together as they were just enjoying the day walking along
They both were so happy they decided to sing a song
Enjoying the warm and beautiful skies
As a small fluffy kitten appeared before their eyes
They decided to take the kitten home for some milk
As they combed the kittens hair that was soft as silk
The older sister always braids the younger sister's hair
They love to giggle alot as their warmth and laughter fills the air
The little girl always likes to wear braids with a blue bow
And my how much each day they always love that cute fluffy kitten
They both giggled when they wanted to name him so they decided to call him Mitten
Mitten always likes to cuddle with the younger sister on her bed
He just curls up and purrs contently upon her bed spread
Each day both the sisters take the kitten out to play in the yard
Sometimes the sisters enjoying drawing for one another a beautiful card
They have a warm and special bond that they share each and every day
Sometimes just giggling going places and enjoying the company of their kitten today
