The Crossing of the Roads

The Crossing of the Roads

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard
"

Military families often make friends and then have to leave them.

"

The paths of life
Are often intertwined
You chose your way
And I chose mine
I took the path left
And you took the right
We never knew we'd meet
Again one starless night
Each path had it's burdens
Each one separate loads
We never knew there'd be
A crossing of the roads
But when we knew
That we'd meet again
We didn't say goodbye
Only "Until then"
So until our paths
Cross once more again
Remember that I love you
My forever friend
One day we'll meet again
And find a sharing of the loads
We'll be together soon
At the crossing of the roads.

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
