Pushing

Pushing

A Poem by Julie Murphy, Julie Desin & Julie Stoddard

it was never that i wanted to

forget about you

never did it occur to me

that you and i wouldn't be

i need to heal i kept saying

and you continued playing

i didn't want to push and shove

i felt so safe and warm in your love

i wanted so to trust

but i just.....

couldn't

so i pushed you so far away

even when i only wanted you to stay

i did all i thought i had to do

to run away from you
found again the mirrors and mask
easier then was the task
of hiding alone in my fear
of what might happen with you near
you asked me to justify
and i could only cry
bleeding

About
Life has been crazy for a very long time, but for now I have some time and will be trying to add more of my writing. I'll slowly be restoring them from my own back ups, though it may take some time. .. more..
