I:
“You're the worst,” they throw out
Laughing
“You ruin everything”
Like it doesn't matter

It matters now
It’ll matter in ten years when you
Realize you've created
A monster

II:
And I laugh
Inside and out
As you talk about the downside of love
As if I've never felt it
*little do you know*
*that’s all i feel*

III:
My subconscious
Reaches out in shielded avoidance,
Pleading to
Meet my gaze and my mind
Unsheletered
As my heart has already taken
The blow

I watched.
I wrote.
I know.
*so don't hide*
