ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

In my mind.

I'm in the ICU.

Scared, alone, numb.

Crying my eyes out.

I want to leave.

My only way out?

If the doctors tell me.

In my mind.

I'm in the ICU.

Looking around.

At other sick patients.

Help me.

In my mind.

I'm in the ICU.

Fighting.

Yanking the cords off me.

I run.

I wake up.

Scared.
