Rain IV: Symphony

Rain IV: Symphony

A Poem by Stephanie
"

For creative writing. I know I have Rain III: The Musical, but I feel this one's different. Improved, hopefully.

"
Drip drop, drip drop
It begins at a muffled volume
The slow upstart of your favorite song
But this tune has no words
None that are spoken
Pitter patter, pitter patter
Melodious molecules on the roof
Building up to the chorus
Anticipation rushes through your body
You know the words and you’re ready to sing along
Rumble, BOOM!
Bumping bass kicks in
A high vibration courses under your feet
Fills the air all around you
Attaches to every atom of air
Whoosh, howl
Percussion picks up pace
Moving through the trees
Just as it moves your soul to joy
To the crescendo of the rain
A storm in full swing
An orchestra with every piece assembled

You blend in the rhythm of the rain, its growing song, and make it come to life with every drip and drop... What a resounding poetic piece of music!
