for so many sunsets, been aglow

there is one thing that i know

you're hurting me

you're breaking me

cause how many times have we spoke

i know this all sounds over-wrote

i can tell you, that its wrong

you shouldnt keep any one waiting for this long

do you wanna be telling stories bout the one that got away

or do you wanna wake up in the morning with his lips up on your face

i'll sing you songs and wipe away your tears when its hard to keep the faith

or maybe i'm just convincing myself that i'm okay

for three months i fought and cried

you only call when shes by my side

the saddest part is id come back

in the blink of an eye or a fingers snap

you know the part that hurts the most

id follow you from coast to coast

and you wont even answer me

cant you see i'm on my knees

do you wanna be telling stories bout the one that got away

i will never move on

i'll just live with the pain that you left

praying that you'll find the day

when you realize that no loves the same

i know that i made my mistakes

but id kill just to show you i've changed

til then i'll wither away

til then my tears fall like rain

There's a lot of pain and heart break in here. Im not sure whether its fiction or not, but theres so much sadness and pain.
Your writing really wears its heart on its sleeve.

I found it a good read. I'll most definately continue reading your poems, Thomas
