Silence

Silence

A Poem by Steph Cruz

Silence is all I hear. The floor creeks, the air around me becomes suffocating. The moon shines through the broken window like my broken heart. A mournful river of tears run down my face. I wish for a voice to shatter the silence into pieces and stop me from sinking into this black hole I call reality. Bring me an escape from this world..

Wonderful prose poetry, a remarkable one. You nailed the ending with such significance.
