surrealist poetry inspired by CA Conrad's "The Book of Frank"

Solidify your mass appeal
communicate each syllable.

Fix your tie!

The eye in the sky is
watching you.

Best Dressed?

Yes.
or merely a bi-product of toxic waste...

You must admit, a slap in the face.

The microphone died.
The soapbox broke.

And the joke's on you

HA!

I like the set-up of the poem leading to the surprise ending. The good description create vision of strength than surprise. A very good ending to the excellent poetry.

Playing dress-up for the world, silencing our voices to protect the ears of the sheltered society and their production line laws. I love the offbeat structure and cadence of this poem. Wonderful work :)
