Enough

Enough

A Poem by Steven Fleissner
"

another acoustic song

"
See the rays of the sun
Watch your shadow run

The full moon wain
That man'll still wait

See the tail lights red row
Red eye flights we'll see all the sights

See the moonlight on the cobblestone
The baritone of the saxophone

See the blue in sky
The sleep in her eye

That diamond once was coal
Ain't he the same old soul

See the beautiful way she looks at you
Said I do we know it's true

See the measures of your life
Maybe it's true about you

See the players play their same old games
Maybe ain't no shame no blame

See the wind in the flag lift it up
Some pledge and some stand up

See the homeless man shirt in hand
Every city but thank you band

See the tears in their eyes
From years of fears

See the big world spin
The one percent win

See a different day when they got enough
a different day 'cause enough's enough
