Framed Memories

Framed Memories

Nostalgia memories, so bittersweet.

Emotions impassive of any feelings.

Vivid visions of what was lingers,

leaving classic dreams of long ago.

Serene memories nestled away,

leaves her heart beating at a saunter pace.

Wistful for nights wrapped in his rapture,

and whispers of serenaded love.

Fantasies heed her every thought

Confluent memories keep her

blended in the past where he is.

His torrid touch encircles her unoccupied body.

Callous tears trail down a numb face.

Exuberant memories lavish her,

embraces her with false hope.

Vacuity leaves only a space for him,

and an intense void in her life.

Framed memories keep her

looking out from the inside.

She wonders will she ever

loosen her ties and be

free to love again..........

It has the obvious hallmark of a great writer who cherishes every word she pens.
