Questions Wander In A Stranger's Mind

Questions Wander In A Stranger's Mind

A Poem by KAREN
"

Questions are like animations dancing in rhythmical steps.

"

     My past is the ambiance

I breathe,

forever tattooed in the design

of memories.

The wind carries unwanted whispers

while I journey through the mazes in

my mind.

Have I made a mark in this world?

Do I have a purpose?

Why am I here?

Questions are like animations dancing in

rhythmical steps.

My present is my heart crying

to all the mistakes in an

uncomplete life.

Fragile teardrops has no answers

written with in.

The inner me travels to self-discovery,

and gets tangled in a web of....

Where do I belong?

Have I been a good influence?

Would I be missed if I left?

Questions are laughter reechoing

in the distance.

My future is vivid images evoking

before my eyes.

I wander inside myself

while I get lost in the emptiness.

The world is bleak as I fumble around

in the shadows of

my psyche.

Emotions are figures watching my every move

through the twilight zone

of my life.

Refrigerated by fear I realize one

question lingers in the air

leaving me paralyzed at

my reality.

Who am I?

So many questions, so few answers! Your impressive poem echoes so many of the thoughts that I have struggled with throughout my life. Perhaps the only real answer this dilemma is " do no harm" and not dwell on the perceived judgment by others.
Your searching final question can have only one logical answer - I am ME.

Thank you for reviewing!
Oh my goodness, this piece hit the nail on the head for me. I go through this daily. As time goes by, I think of where I'm at, and where I'm going to be in the future. Such a scary thought, exciting as well....depending on the outlook. It must be human nature, for we all go through this at one point or another.

This is your best poem to date that I have read. Absolutely superb! The words like "tattooed", "refrigerated by fear" are perfectly descriptive.
Excellent job:)

You're more than welcome x
I really enjoyed this poem. We all have questions and we are all sometimes strangers even to ourselves.

Very strong storytelling in his piece. I think we're all strangers wandering with questions in our minds. Powerful stuff.

An awesome poem asking questions we all ask that there seems to be no answers too. Outstanding imagery, very creative too!
