Love that went away

Whoever said love doesn't hurt was a fool. For the love I have for you----they never knew. The pain echoes through my heart----because you were such a major part. You lied and hurt me to my soul. There is no piece of me that is whole. My heart has shattered beyond repair----and it's on fire like a flare. The mending of it will never come---all I feel is truly numb. I don't believe it even beat's, as I stroll down the street's. The wave's of the ocean hit the rock's-----as I continue on the dock's. The roar is so very loud, it's like you never took a vow. The same I will never be----As I watch you walk away from me. You were here, now your gone and I must find the power to move on. To find myself once more, as I stare down on the shore.
