Between Worlds

Between Worlds

A Poem by StormeLight

We walk between worlds

Dancing on the shadows

We watch chaos unfurl

We stand in between

Here we are in the eye

We acknowledge the storm

In between worlds, we are torn

Our joy is a bitterness scorned

A path we walk very much alone

Listen, listen, you will hear a train horn

Coming once again to remind you

of a journey once forlorn and melancholy

A clock ticks slowly by the sea

as the waves wash over the rocks

A dream between logic,

emotion, and powers that be

The clock keeps ticking

Ticking, ticking, ticking

Your spirit drifts over it

Not paying much attention

Time goes by as life is seldom lived

without a passion,

without an intensity

without a catalyst
