What if knowing isn't everything?

What if you had a choice to know

For three straight years

What if knowing isn't everything

Because you are not yet the person

Who will be strong enough

To go through everything

That you will in the future

What if knowing everything

Is not a punishment

But your saving grace

Total ignorance is not bliss

Yet, when God says,

"Not yet"

It's not a punishment

But a gift

You will be shaped along the way

I must confess

When God wouldn't give me all the answers

I turned away in pain and rage

I cried and said to him,

"God, you must not love me"

"If you loved me, you would tell me"

God was silent

I took it as proof

The next three years

He showed me

Oh God, I totally feel you. The way a lot of people describe the will of God leaves so many questions and so much to be desired, that what other choices to you leave people who go through SO much crap at the hands of life and other people? I wish more people would take the time to sit down and truly explain with heart, what it means to live in the world believing in God. Not over simplified confusing platitudes. You know?
