Moan

Moan

A Poem by The Young Lion Last Beat

Moan for the holy and unholy alike moan for the sufferings of the beatific & the sainted moan for the buddhas and angels Moan for the traveler and the homeless moan for me my love moan for the complacent moan for me my love and moan for humanity. I cannot open my mouth and moan beneath stars.

This is like a prayer before dying.... made me think of a man taking his last breaths. I hope my own will be this poetic. Was the layout deliberate because it works very well, made me stop and think about which way to read it, as if the moans were scattered randomly but yet found their own order. Nice read.
