Words

A Poem by Stephanie
"

A bit of heartache from the absence of his words

"

I've become numb to your absence

And in return your words become weaker

In this world there is a need for requisition,

For I am the seeker

The word keeper

The treasure and gold found

Pierce the greedy, leaving wounds

My treasure is sweet words spoken

Hearing the sound of your mind's lyric

Can simply leave your soul in high spirits

Listening to your being, telling your unique story

Brings a state of euphoric sensuality

When my eyes gaze upon your book,

The atmosphere turns into musicality

Words are words, they need their own galaxy

Keeps my sanity

Satiating my senses

Feeling words upon my fingertips,

Oh what a fantasy

Author's Note

Stephanie
My grammar is not all that great. And in my creative writing class in high school, she always told me "Watch your line breaks". So, ignoring my horrible grammar, what do you think of the poem?
