Oh the HumanityA Poem by Subversive RealityOh dear, my dears, are we really here again? With our sails and weapons forged And hundred years torn tearing lives asunder That know not what reason and give not a care for such treason Or fossils and fickle bets, political difference, Dissidence the heart and mind of our D.I.Y. prison The hammer and sickle, the stars, stripes, Moon star and jack united, would but have us delighted And soon there'll be none to squabble and quibble over, You'll query why ever we committed such murder, Too late to surrender As we die a great race of potential abandoned, Our mast broken splintered and sails torn, Splattered with blood duly mourned, And scorned searing hatred © 2013 Subversive Reality |
