To Sam and Joe

To Sam and Joe

A Poem by Sue
"

I wrote this when they were small boys, they are now both over 6 ft and young men! :)

"

Like grease lightening you bound

Across the room of adventure

Towards the light of everlasting play

And mystery

One speaks for the other but not for long

As each day brings new words

Discovered where left behind

Your brother did

Those sunny smiles yes even scowls

Hides those little mischievous minds

Looking always for the chance

To outshine us all

I wish you could stay like this forever

But I know some day you’ll grow

Faster than I can ever stop you

Into this adult world of mine

(To my nephews)
