anything like trees

anything like trees

A Poem by Hermione

and what is sorrow if only
so hollow that the mouth it
comes forward to hold you
under oath and oh it speaks,
it speaks when you don't
lend air to the weight of the words
you say and say say say
the force the wave a tidal of all
that is love and all that love could be
and it goes, forward and it
drags us with it and the waterfall
that leads to the river can
come closer to me if it wish it
to be and i am not afraid
of the bees or the snakes
or anything like trees, no matter
how much bigger they may be,
and panic as you may
but i will be here
just always, as near and though
i can bend i can never shatter.
be not afraid but only sing
what comes to mind and
there you could find that balance.
write onward as the verbs
and nouns can form a path
to make it easier, and if these
letters and numbers
and syllables and
similies of love could hold you
enough to ease your shoulders,
i would write such words,
of gods, of myth of epic and all
in all is solid and truth
is what i would call it.
Odysseus, oh
rise from your page,
your wrath be damned,
reclaim the volumes of my devotion
and I'll fight forever,
this dove is infinite
and so it seems like the fog is
swallowing the sun,
but it is so, and right
that I will swallow the fog.
