lust

lust

A Poem by Hermione

I see the lust in your

square faces, those ever,

overreaching mouths

and thank you, not

as there is little of me

we speak not of currency

Your eyes recollect me

maybe, but keep me from

your hands.

Sure I, solely

understand

Well read as is, it finds you

no challenge.

Legs crossed at the knees,

your mind make no move

yet you stand in front of me

wants on your face

too tasteless

all opaque

come no closer

slip of a man

know these words

aren’t my only

slight of hand
