My home is in the Southland

My home is in the Southland

A Poem by Summer Grace

My home is in the
Southland, by the
Palm trees, near the
Beaches, across the

Miles my heart
Reaches to where
I know is home, near
LA the sun shines today

As it doesn't far away
My home is in the
Sunshine, in the
Southland somewhere

Near LA I'd be
Smiling if I could
Be there today- she died
In the Southland

Long ago someone
I'll never know but
Her blood runs on in
Mine faraway in

Another time states
Away I think of her
Life in the Southland,
Long ago-

This is about how I wish I lived in the LA area ''The Southland''- my great grandmother actually did live in The Southland
