By the seashore

By the seashore

A Poem by Summer Grace

Set your mind at ease
From the past, that cuts
You like broken glass
When you think back

To those days set your mind at
Ease from other’s words, a
Thousand hurts, pain without
Cease, for too many years

By the sea feel the peace
From the past that now you
Have at last after all the
Pain sunshine on the sea

Tells of all you have yet
To be if you set your mind
At ease about the past pain
And hurt -those people

Are miles away and can
No longer hurt you with
What they say, leave them
In yesterday and move on

To the sunshine of tomorrow
Reflecting off the sea-
These are the days
That will be
