Surviving Life

Surviving Life

A Poem by Summer Grace

When it is warm, June again
And you are with me and long
Past is January's agony you always
Knew that it would be this way

So we have surived, we are survivors
We have found that tragedy is black
And white not merely black, not just ebony
We know that we can last past the

Breaking point far into June days
Gray days on long roads
Have taken us into these days
When it is sunny and azure

And it is midsummer's dream time
When it is warm in the long twilights of mid June
So maybe it is that to endure
Is to survive for it is tragedy
That made all this, made it it what it is
January become June
